Step 3: Professional Report Delivery

Step 4: If Issues Are Found- What Happens Next

Our report tells your electrician or electrical contractor exactly what was found, where it is, and how serious it appears. We classify findings using recognized severity standards, typically based on the temperature differential (ΔT) between the anomalous component and a reference baseline:

  • ΔT of 1–10°C: Monitor; schedule follow-up inspection
  • ΔT above 21°C: Priority repair; address as soon as safely possible
  • Extreme ΔT: Immediate action required; risk of failure or fire is high

After your electrician makes repairs, we strongly recommend a follow-up thermal scan to confirm the issue has been fully resolved. Many insurance carriers and building departments now request this documentation.
